Shipping Policy

WITHIN INDIA

When making a purchase from us online, shipping and handling rates are approximate until you insert a shipping address.Please allow 1-2 days for delivery if book is in stock and 7-25 days when the books are out of stock. All prices on this Website are expressed in Indian currency.

MERCHANDISE RATES FOR INDIA

The following standard shipping costs are for shipments within India only and are calculated according to the total cost of merchandise in your order. You as a client are required to sign for your Sterling Book house deliveries. For shipment within Mumbai, from Rs 50/- to Rs. 250/- (according to your area pin code) would be added as shipping . The shipping charges levied outside Mumbai are as follows.

Book Post (appx. Rs. 35 upto 1 KG and appx. Rs. 5 for every additional 500 grams)

Register Post (appx Rs.87 upto 1 KG and appx Rs. 33 for every additional 500 grams)

Air Courier (Rs.150 per 1 KG)

Cash on Delivery - Only within MUMBAI (Rs. 100 orders up to Rs. 500, Rs. 75 for orders between Rs. 501 to 950, Rs. 50 for orders between Rs. 951 to Rs. 1500, more than Rs. 1500 delivery charges is FREE.)

INSURANCE

We guarantee for books sent to customers by Cash On Delivery (within Mumbai only) and books sent by Courier. Books sent by registered post can not be guaranteed by us. In case of problems, we can help the customer by corresponding with the postal department beyond which we cannot replace the books.

OUTSIDE INDIA

At this time, we are unable to fulfill international orders online for titles re-printed in India, the books will get deleted during checkout. We regret that this is beyond our control and will strive to serve our international customers through our web site soon. Titles which we are allowed to sell globally are generally Imported editions and Books which are originally published in India. Shipping rates will be shown at the time of checkout after you add your shipping address.
